The 2026 Salomon Wonder is a female specific freeride board that can take anything the mountain can throw at it. Experience powerful control on groomers thanks to the Rock Out Camber and directional twin shape that help keep your nose up and give you a precise, controlled ride both in powder and on hardpack, and thanks to the Wonder's Quadralizer sidecut, your turns will feel smoother and more natural. Salomon have pumped the Wonder full of tech to give you a poppy, precise, and smooth ride, as well as giving it a mid flex that'll handle groomers and powder as well as sidehits. Royal Cork Rails and Ghost Basalt stringers help reduce chatter and dampen your ride, so you can ride full speed ahead with maximum control and minimum fatigue. All Mountain snowboards are versatile boards that excel across various terrains, from groomed runs to off-piste. These boards offer solid edge control and responsiveness, making them a great option for riders who want one board to do just about everything.
Flex: 5/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.
Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
A beginner snowboard is softer, lighter, and more stable, making it easier to control and manoeuvre while learning basic skills like turning and stopping.
Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.
Shape: Directional Twin
A directional twin snowboard has a symmetrical shape but with a slightly shifted stance, making it ideal for riders who want the versatility of a twin for freestyle, with the added stability of a directional design. Laminate: BA MD Fiberglass, Popster, Ghost Basalt Stringers, 30% Bio-Based Resin
BA MD medium density fiberglass is used to create a light and lively board.
Popster mills the core inside of the inserts, allowing the board to flex more naturally and energy is transferred to the nose and tail more efficiently for extra pop.
By sewing Basalt stringers into the Tri-Ax fiberglass, you get more pop, control, and dampness at speed, giving you more response.
This bio-based resin is made 30% of plant material, offering a high performance resin with a low environmental impact.
Core: Aspen Strong Core
CNC-cut high-density Aspen wood strips in the insert and rail zones improve impact resistance and ensure consistent flex the entire life of the core.
Sidewall: Royal Cork Pads
Cork pads are strategically positioned in the sidewall to deliver eco-friendly dampening, improving ride smoothness and performance.
Edges: Freestyle Edge Bevel
For superior edge hold and forgiveness while on rails and boxes, a 1.5 degree base edge bevel is added.
Base: Sintered Base
A high-quality sintered base material, providing a balanced combination of speed from a hard surface and good wax retention.

We are a local, independently owned store and do not offer ‘change of mind’ refunds for returned items (this includes incorrect sizing), however we're happy to offer you a store credit or exchange subject to the following conditions:
Store credits, lasting up to 3 years, will be issued for the amount paid at time of purchase for the particular item being returned. They are issued via email in which you'll receive a 16 digit code that you can use at checkout online or in store.
Unfortunately stock levels vary and we are not able to stock all products in all sizes, which may result in your desired exchange product or size not being available. In the event that your desired exchange product is not in stock, a store credit will be issued.
Should you not want a credit or exchange, in extenuating circumstances Melbourne Snowboard Centre may issue a refund minus a 20% restocking fee.
If your return is time sensitive, our regular returns policy applies and no refunds will be given if you purchase new items prior to returning original items.

When returning, please ensure you take care to protect the item and its original packaging. Damaged packaging or damaged products may result in a reduction in your credit, or a refusal of your return. Refused returns incur a minimum $10 return shipping fee (more for bulky items).

If you have received a faulty product or you feel the product you have been using is eligible for a warranty evaluation by the manufacturer due to defect in its materials or workmanship, contact us and we can walk you through the appropriate steps to lodge a warranty claim. Please include photos of the item and issue so we can expedite the process. Find out more on our warranty page.
If you have received a damaged product (eg. damaged in transit), please send photos and a description of the damage within 7 days of receipt to web@melbournesnowboard.com.au, along with your order number and contact details. Damaged product claims do not apply after the item has been used.
Our packages are discounted to help you get on snow at a reasonable price. Due to this, if you get the wrong size we are happy to offer an exchange in size of the same product, but we do not accept returns for individual package items. If you would like to return one or more items in a package but not all items, you must return the entire package and re-purchase the remaining item at its advertised price.
