The 2022 Burton Stylus is the easiest and most forgiving snowboard in the Burton Womens range. The soft flex, forgiving camber profile, and easy bevel base keep you on your feet for longer, teaching balance and board control and promoting progression from day one. For those just starting out or progressing off rental boards and looking to build some skills, the Stylus will put you on the right path.
Board Type: Beginner
Camber Type: Flat Top
Flat Top puts flat camber between your feet and rocker in the tip and tail. The flat provides more stability, pop, balance, and edge hold, while the rocker gives you stronger presses and that catch-free feeling that rocker is known for.
Flex: 2/10 (Soft)
Twin Flex - This board is constructed the same at both ends to give a smooth ride while riding regular or switch.
Shape: Twin
Constructed exactly the same tip to tail, this board is designed to provide consistent performance when riding in both switch and regular.
Core:
FSC Certified Fly 900G - A classic lightweight wood core.
Squeezebox Low - A thicker and more powerful core section with thinner and more flexible sections in the tip and tail. This enhances energy transfer and makes the board snappier and more stable. The Low version of Squeezebox has an overall easier feel, with stiffer zones just outside your feet and a softer, smoother flex inside the bindings for more control and less effort.
Biax Glass - This biaxial fibreglass features a jib-friendly, torsionally soft flex that provides a softer, more forgiving, park-focused feel.
Base: Extruded
Speed, strength, and graphical pop in base that requires little maintenance.
Additional Features:
Super Sap Epoxy - Super Sap is a bio-based resin that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% over conventional petroleum-based epoxies.
Easy Bevel - This board features a convex base that helps eliminate edge catches for a super forgiving platform to learn on.
