The 2026 Jones Men's Flagship is the board that is made to crush any steep, deep or hardpacked terrain you can find. This is one of the boards that has given Jones its amazing reputation for freeriding, and is one of the most confidence inspiring boards you'll ever ride. Giving a freestyle flair to the backcountry, the Flagship features a redesigned shape to help you stomp those drops, and the High 3D Contour Base glides through powder and rolls your turns, so you'll float and turn better and smoother, giving you less catch and a more natural feeling ride. Carbon/Flax stringers give instant energy transmission to your edges, and the stiff flex gives you the power and stability to charge through almost anything.

Board Type: Freeride-Powder
Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders.
Powder snowboards are designed for deep snow. Generally these boards feature a directional shape with a tapered tail for better float and ease of riding.
Flex: 8/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
Stiff snowboards are precise, responsive, and built for advanced riders tackling high speeds, steep terrain, or icy conditions. They deliver powerful turns, excellent edge hold, and enhanced stability, especially during aggressive riding.
Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.
Advanced snowboards are stiffer and more responsive, designed for high-speed control, precision riding, and handling challenging terrain or tricks.
Shape: Tapered Directional with High 3D Contour Base

A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding. While it excels in one direction, the taper helps the board naturally guide you through challenging conditions.
A freeride-driven 3D Contour Base with a 7mm spoon bevel in the nose and up to 7mm in the tail, starting just before the contact points.
Camber Type: Directional Camber/Rocker

Jones' Directional Camber/Rocker profile incorporates camber throughout the body of the board with rocker in the nose. This keeps the board nice and responsive and powerful while enhancing float and manoeuvrability in deep snow, perfect for freeriding or in powder.
Width: Standard, Wide
Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.
Wide boards are for those with large boot sizes and provide extra flotation, reduced drag, and never feel clunky or cumbersome underfoot.
Inserts: 2x4 Inserts
These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.
Board Construction
Topsheet: Ash Wood Veneer Topsheet
Jones' Ash Wood Veneer Topsheet is made of a lightweight and damp Ash that eliminates edge chatter and distributes flex for better torsional stiffness.
Laminate: Triax Fiberglass, BComp Carbon Flax Stringer with Bio Resin
A three-layer, multi-directional fiberglass laminate designed for a dynamic and controlled ride, providing a mid-stiff torsional flex and exceptional responsiveness across many snow conditions.
BComp Carbon Flax stringers deliver the ideal mix of power and control—carbon adds serious pop, while flax smooths out vibrations and keeps harmful emissions lower than full carbon designs.
This plant based resin is more environmentally friendly than traditional petroleum based epoxy that has unmatched bonding properties for increased performance and less weight.
Core: Power Core
The Power Core is a three species wood core made of Bamboo, Paulownia, and Poplar. The Bamboo stringers add extra durability, pop, and torsional stiffness, while the Paulownia and Poplar keeps it lightweight, poppy, and stable.
Sidewall: Recycled ABS Sidewalls
Jones makes their sidewalls out of a recycled ABS material with a round finish. This increases durability by deflecting impact away from the sidewall preventing chipping and cracks.
Edge: Recycled Edges
Made of recycled German steel, these bombproof edges are made to be the strongest and longest lasting on the market.
Base: Sintered 9900 Base, Flip-Flop Base
A high-performance sintered base infused with carbon for unbeatable speed, durability, and superior wax absorption.
Jones boards with Flip-Flop bases come in two colour options to reduce P-Tex waste. The offcuts from one base is used on another board to keep waste out of the landfill.
Additional Features:
Jones adds an extra set of inserts for a setback stance to make the deepest of powder easier to ride in.
All Jones board come detuned in the tip and tail and ready to ride from the factory.
All Jones boards are factory waxed with a natural wax, ready to ride as soon as you hit the mountain.
By overbuilding snowboards, Jones use a process in the factory to ‘break in’ the board to mimic 20 days ridden.
Traction Tech enhances edge grip with strategically placed contact points, giving your board a firm, reliable hold on the snow—just like a serrated knife.

Inspired by surfboard design, 3D Contour Bases reduce tip drag for effortless turns, better glide, and enhanced float—so you can ride faster and with more flow.
